Noted Taris-Denier Shot Dead
Oret Triblen, academic and outspoken Taris Destruction skeptic, was found dead in his home yesterday morning. Sources close to the investigation list blasterfire as the cause of death. Investigators are treating the case as a homicide.
Triblen’s body was found in his home yesterday morning by his housekeeper, who described the scene as “execution style”. None of Triblen’s possessions were found to be missing, and investigators believe the slaying to be related to Triblen’s outspoken stance on several issues.
Triblen was known in academic circles as a staunch skeptic of the Taris Destruction incident. Though it took place over 300 standard years ago, it is often cited as a prime example of Sith extremism and a criticism of the “ends justify the means” approach. Read the rest of this entry »
